It never ceases to amaze me - with so many eager competent employees, how long a purchase transaction takes. First they write it down manually, then they tally it up manually, then they confirm it w/calculator, THEN they input it to the register. One thing the Walmart fabric counter has right, is the ease with which they tally the yardage and price.
