We are talking about Milo and Roberta’s wedding, a young couple who moved from Switzerland to the wonderful Montalcino (Siena) to get married.
The ceremony took place in Villa a Tolli, a charming hamlet in the Sienese countryside, where the beautiful panoramic farmhouse is surrounded by hills and old oak forests. The newlyweds chose to accommodate their guests in the hamlet which was exclusively dedicated to their wedding: Milo and Roberta, together with their friends and families, moved there to make preparations for the wedding reception. Whereas the ceremony was held in Carmigliano, which is a part of Montalcino. The location has a great scenic and evocative impact, it is the ideal place for a wedding which is elegant and spontaneous at the same time. Milo and Roberta please the day in a funny and witty way, making all aspects of their wedding a real pleasure.
Favoured by a quite delightful weather, the choice of having the wedding reception on the balcony with panoramic view was welcomed enthusiastically by the guests: the view on the Sienese hills is of invaluable beauty. Besides creating their picture story, with a particular attention to catching the nuances and the details of the wedding, we created a video, a short story of that day, meant for the couple and aiming to try all the new technologies by Canon. That video also became a “demo” for Canon, which used it to show the potential of its products during its Italian tour Digital Symposium 2011.
But there can not be a wedding without unforeseen events… and in this case Milo and Roberta had to show their great problem solving skills: the booklets hadn’t been delivered on time by the printing house, but that inconvenience had been quickly and smartly solved by using the booklets of another couple, adapted and personalised (by hand) at last minute.
